This means War
The ESSO-3 Colonists are pulled back into action by a very unfamiliar military bureaucracy. The world has changed, with Humanity’s future suddenly in jeopardy, a military effort has been organized against the new threat the Colonists uncovered. But there’s an information gap; it’s a known fact the enemy is mobilizing, but over such sizable interstellar distances, Humanity is mostly in the dark.
Combining ESSO-1, ESSO-2 and ESSO-3 Colonists to be sent on a dangerous early offensive and reconnaissance, the Military hopes to do what it can to stave off the worst. With a brand new star system as their destination, the Colonists will need all their skills and cunning to match this new enemy. But what happens when, far from any known civilization, both sides fall into deadlock?
