Hidden in a foreign land, the dark sorceress Memphala plots to plunge Elessia into eternal darkness.
Lucius Langeshen knows naught of her plans. The monster-hunting cleric seeks her for a much more personal matter: vengeance. For his previous encounter with Memphala left him deaf to the voice of his patron deity, the Lady of the Silvery Moon.
As they wander the lands of Garm in search of the sorceress’ lair, Lucius and his companion—the retired marksman Oskar—chance upon two faces from Oskar’s old crew: a burly swordswoman with a secret past and her nimble-fingered, tomb-raiding partner.
Together, they face their greatest challenge yet when they clash with a ruthless mercenary company over an ancient artifact: the very mask Memphala seeks to claim godlike powers.
Yet a much darker, ageless entity observes from the shadows, twisting the threads of Fate whilst biding its time…
