The time has come.
The duel is nigh.
Lemmi must depart from her beloved Mintwood to fight a dark witch iIt’s finally time! The wedding of the year! Everything has been prepared within an inch of its life, including Greer’s sanity. Nothing is left to chance and nothing could possibly go wrong, right?
WRONG.A wedding . . . NOT the one you think.Lemmi and her friends are about to do something truly shocking. Greer in particular is about to break out of her shell. While Deacon is out of town, she decides she wants to try on wedding dresses. Of course, the cute wedding dress shop has more of a history than meets the eye. The original owner died in a suspicious accident, and Lemmi decides to investigate what might be a case of murder. On top of that, trouble is moving ever more quickly toward Mintwood in the form of dark ghosts. Can the Witch of Mintwood and her friends stop the invasion in time? The cost will be surprising, and very very high.
A proposal . . . NOT the one you think.
A confrontation . . . DEFINITELY the one you think.
And an old and mysterious murder.
Welcome back to Mintwood!
Naturally, trouble follows the Mintwood ladies and their merry band wherever they goMintwood’s Magic Marbles may sparkle, spark, and shine, all while Lemmi and her friends are trying to solve their most complex case yet.
Greer’s trying to figure out wedding planning with Deacon, Charlie’s being weird, and Lemmi's busting in when Jasper has meetings with important business people.
Meanwhile, witches are pouring into town and Lemmi and the ghosts are in no way happy about their reasons why.
If you thought the last couple of books ended with a shocker, you won’t believe what happens now., even when it’s to an exclusive wedding venue. Can Lemmi solve the mystery while also being there for her friend? What will she do about a certain duel that’s coming up?
As confusion reigns, for once not all caused by Paws, Lemmi and her friends are working against the clock.
And there’s a wedding in the balance.n a duel on a magical island. Luckily, she’s taking a wealth of support that will be focused only on her well-being.
Okay, no she’s actually just taking Paws. No one else was allowed to travel to Sparkle Island with her.
Unsurprisingly, given that this is a poorly managed witch duel, there are problems from the start that only grow worse as the days pass.
Lots will happen on this adventure: a mystery (of course), a duel (as promised), maybe new friendships (who would’ve thought), and trusts tested. Can Lemmi save the day? What about the Garbos? Will Jane be able to wrangle her ever un-wrangleable grandmother Cookie into some semblance of not burning the house down?
Only time will tell.
Come to the witch-filled island of Sparkle and see how Lemmi, Paws, Jane, Cookie, Lark, Pep, Grant, and the rest make out.
